This trek gives you the grand tour of the famous Khumbu area. This is a strenuous trek leading to Gokyo Lake and over the Cho La Pass at 5330m leading into the Khumbu valley above Lobuje. The trail continues up to Kalapattar and then back to Lukla via Thengboche and Namche Bazaar.

With eight of the world’s ten highest peaks, Nepal is loaded with spectacular mountains vistas. Trekking in the Everest area is an awesome experience, not only for its proximity to the world’s highest mountain but also for its friendly Sherpa people, picturesque villages, great variety of cultures and traditions, colourful festivals and monasteries. The flora and fauna are other ornaments of the Sagarmatha National Park. The story of the yeti is still a mystery and the legend lives on in the Khumbu.

Day 1: Kathmandu (1310m)
Our airport representative will be received you at the airport and transfer to Hotel. It is 7km and takes about 10 minutes. Overnight at hotel, B.B plan.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sight Seeing & Permit making process
After breakfast beautiful "Kathmandu Valley" sight seeing. This day we visit Shwoyambhunath Stupa, Baudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight at hotel, B.B plan.
Day 3: Kathmandu - Lukla (2850m) - Phakding (2600m),3 hours
In the morning we take the flight from Kathmandu for Lukla, about 50 minutes with the wonderful views of the Himalaya (on a clear day). After arrival at Lukla there will be sometime taken by the guides to arrange all the porters and necessary requirement. After Organizing with porters and Sherpas the trek starts immediately to Phakding (2600m). Short stage (3h) and down. The short walk will stop at Teahouse.
Day 4: Phakding - Namche Bazar (3440m),6 hours 

We follow the Dudh Koshi River, right and left side alternately. The track cut through the rocks, edged with crops suddenly goes up till Namche Bazar, capital of the Sherpa area: several small shops, Tibetan souvenirs, market on Saturday. As Namche being the hub for every trek in Everest region, it offers plenty of Lodges around. We choose one and stop for the night. 
Day 5: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazzar
Acclimatization is most important before heading higher. Most off the trekker’s acclimatization at Namche on their trek schedule. Today you may excursion either Thame village or viewpoint as your wish but better to consult with your guide regarding the day trip earlier night. If you prefer to Thame it takes approximately 7/8 hours walking both way go and return to Namche. it is popular for visiting Thame monastery but most of the trekker’s choose the easy option just to go Viewpoint in the stand point of splendid view of the Himalayas including Mt. Everest (8848), Lhotse (8516m), Lhotse shar (8382m), Nuptse (7879m), peak- 38(7591m), Ama dablam (6856m), Thamserku (6623m), Kangtega (6783m), Kusum kangaru (6367), Cholaste (6335m), Tabuche peak (6495m), Khumbi La (5765m) and  Kwangde Ri (6011m) etc. overnight at teahouse.
Day 6: Trek to Phorste Thanga (3680 meters),5hours
Cho La pas trek trail climbs steeply out of valley through rhododendron forest, juniper and large conifers start to appear as the elevation increases making the trekking beautiful in spring. Our route passes through Yak Kharkas and summer settlements.The views of Khumbi La and Tawache are magnificent throughout the day. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 7: Trek to Machherma (4470 meters),5 hrs
Now the Cho La pass trek trail climbs a ridge for an excellent view both down the valley to Kengtega and up towards Cho Oyu and descend to a river and again climbs steep to the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpz glacier. We will reach at Machherma by early noon. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 8: Trek to Gokyo (4790 meters),6 hrs
Today we trek up the gokyo valley and enjoy views of massive Cho Oyu.Overnight at teahouse.

Day 09: Trek to Gokyo Ri (5483 meters) - Back to Gokyo, 5 hrs 
Starting early in the morning we have sharp climb up to the crest of Gokyo Ri at elevation of 5483 meters, plenty rewards to one attempts this trip. There are stunning views of the supper Gokyo valley, the massive Ngozumpa Glacier and an incredible panoramic view of the whole Khumbu Himalayas, such as giants as Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Cho-Oyu and Gychung Kang can be seen. Those who explore the glacier and Gokyo peak are rewarded. . Overnight at teahouse.

Day 10: Trek to Thangna (4500 meters)
From Gokyo the trail descends, glancing at the view of the fine mountains and natural beauty, towards Thangna which is consider as the base of Cho -La Pass (5330m).Overnight at teahouse.
Day 11: Cross Cho La pass (5300 meters) trek to Dzongla (4710 meters),7 hrs
Today’s hike is a long walk starting before sunrise at 4/5 am to reach the pass by 9-10AM or else weather condition will greatly affect our journey. We cross over at an altitude of 5300 meters we could be exposed to strong winds if crossing too late. We start to climb steeply that is regularly used and easy to follow. However, the problem may arise due to the altitude and snow. It often causes terrible problems to cross the pass if it is covered by snow. As you reach the top, you are rewarded by the magnificent views, then we descend to the Dzongla at noon.Overnight at teahouse.
Day 12: Trek to Lobuche (4910 meters),3 hrs
The trail continues along the moraine from Dzongla affording you splendid views of Kala Pattar and Pumori before you reach Lobuche.This is an easy day had long and tough trekking day yesterday. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 13: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5365 meters) then back to Gorak Shep,7 hrs
The trail from Lobuche follows a route, which is surrounded, by mountains. After a gradual climb you will reach Gorak Shep which is also surrounded by mountains. You are now nestled high up amongst some of the tallest peaks in the world. Guide will take you along the undulating trail to this much-coveted place to EBC. From here, you can observe the blue ice and the Khumbu icefall. This trekking will be an unforgettable experience in your lifetime. Head back to Gorak Shep, Overnight at teahouse.
Day 14:Hike up to Kalapattar (5555 meters) then trek down to Periche (4200 meters),7 hrs
After reaching Base camp of Everest our aim today is to trek Kalapattar (5555meters). We start early to reach the viewpoint that offers some of the best views of Mount Everest as well as other panoramas of the surrounding mountains. We then descend to Pheriche at elevation of 4200 meters. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 15:  Trek from Pheriche To Tenggboche (3860m/12660ft)
We hike all the way down through rhododendron forest from Pheriche to Tyangboche. Beside superb view of green hills, river and great Ama Dhablam we can visit beautiful Tyangboche monastery, an old and famous monastery of Khumbu region. Ninth day of Everest Base Camp Trek.Overnight at teahouse.
Day 16:Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11290ft) , 6 hours 
After breakfast, we descend steeply to Namche Bazaar (3441 mtrs). Overnight at Teahouse. Tenth day of Everest Base Camp Trek.Overnight at teahouse.
Day 17: Namche to Lukla (2840m/9320ft) ,6 hrs
You will trek back to Lukla along the same path. Here, you will take some rest and celebrate your accomplishment. You can taste the local beverage ‘Rakshi’ or ‘Chyang’ meaning wine. If you have any amount of strength left in your body you could even groove to the local Sherpa tune and show some dance moves of your own. Or, you could dance along the Sherpa way. Overnight at teahouse. Eleventh/Last day of Everest Base Camp Trek.
Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu
Look back at the mountain vistas that you spent your one and a half weeks with and kiss a good bye to them. Thirty minutes later, you will be far from these beauties and back in Kathmandu. From the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 19:  Rest day Shopping/ Leisure
If you have slept off your fatigue and stinging muscles, you can go on a shopping rampage or get a massage to get your body back in shape. Or, you could still be in Lukla, if it was a bad weather the day before. Either way, you are going to be free today.
Day 20: Departure to Destination Country.
If you think you have had enough of adventure and you cannot wait to tell your friends how much fun you had on this trip, we will transfer you off to the airport.
